The MOONDREAM Sound Insulation Curtain is a 3-in-1 technical insulation solution that dresses windows with stylish fabrics and reduces sound levels up to 7 decibels* while also providing thermal insulation and a blackout effect.

Size: 57 Inch wide and available in different lengths (70, 102, 118, 138 Inch) which can easily be adjusted with the provided iron-on hemming tape
Eyelet: 1.6 inch inner diameter, spaced at regular intervals to avoid crimping the fabric.
Material: 1st layer: 100% polyester / 2nd layer: 99.99% polyester, 0.01% aluminium / 3rd layer: 100% recycled cotton
Non-toxic fabric: the curtain fabric is OEKO-TEX certified and was produced without the use of any harmful substances (OEKO-TEX is an independent testing and certification system for textile products – recognized worldwide)

THE SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM
How does the sound insulation curtain work?
Sound frequencies get trapped in between the multiple fabric layers of the curtain which prevents the noise from going through the curtain.
However, not all frequencies are blocked by the curtain, so once they make it inside the room, the thick and heavy curtain absorbs the echo and muffles the sound. Therefore, even if you hear the noise, it’s much less agressive and you are no longer disturbed or woken up by it.
Can a curtain alone solve my traffic noise problem?
Our soundproof curtains have been designed to block the outside noise as much as possible with fabric. It will also absorb and dampen the sound reflection inside the room to create a much quieter atmosphere.
If you are experiencing constant traffic noise, our curtains will definitely help to reduce the noise and increase your comfort level significantly but any soundproof curtain made from fabric that is decorative and not stiff will never be able to block these low frequency sounds to 100%. As the sound is also coming through the wall and bounces off the floor and the ceiling, multiple insulating measures are necessary, as for example a rug or seal strip self-adhesive foam on your windows or doors.

Our reversible room divider curtains with sound insulation use the patented MOONDREAM technology but have one additional layer: they use the same fabric on front and back and look identical on both sides (even the grommets)!
